Tai then introduces himself and Sora, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, T.K., and Joe. Suddenly a snowstorm hits and everyone runs outside and see a strange phenomenon that looks like the Northern Lights. Then a hole appears in the sky and 7 balls of light come crashing down at them. 7 devices come floating up from where the balls of light crashed. Everyone takes one and wonder what they are. Then out of no where a tidal wave comes crashing down on them and they get transported into another world, the Digital World. Tai hears someone calling him to wake up. Tai opens his eyes and sees a pink head and blinking pink eyes. Tai gets the shock of his life, but the pink head says that he's his friend and that he's been waiting for Tai. The pink head introduces himself as Koromon (Brave Little Warrior Monster). Then Izzy comes out from behind a tree and has another pink thing following him. The second pink thing introduces himself as Motimon. Koromon and Motimon tell Tai and Izzy that they are in the Digiworld, so Tai decides to take a look around. He climbs up a tall tree and takes out his mini telescope. He sees an ocean some mountains, then Koromon goes up and joins Tai and asks if he sees anything. Tai says he doesn't see anything he recognizes, but then he sees a giant red beetle and it's flying right at them. Koromon says that the bug is called Kuwagamon. Kuwagamon turns around and starts attacking them again, but Tai, Izzy, Koromon, and Motimon run away and hide in a hiding tree. Kuwagamon flies away and the group hear a voice that says that they can come out. It's Sora and and she has a little radish creature called Yocomon with her. Then another little creature pops out of nowhere and calls himself Tokomon. Tokomon then calls T.K. T.K. comes and right behind him is Matt, who also has a creature with him called Tsunomon, who looks like Koromon except it has a horn and is orange. Then Joe comes running out of nowhere with a floating creature right behind called Bukamon. The kids find out that the creatures are called Digimon: Digital Monsters and everyone introduces each other. Then they wonder what happened what happened to the last person, Mimi and then they hear her scream. They follow the sound and find her with another digimon called Tanemon, but they are being chased by Kuwagamon. Everyone then runs away from Kuwagamon but are trapped at the end of a cliff. The digimon decide to attack Kuwagamon but get hurt, but they try again and the digivolve into bigger digimon

and defeat Kuwagamon, or so they think. Kuwagamon comes back and breaks off the ledge of the cliff where everyone is and they all fall, but is it to their doom? This is a real cliffhanger!
